Approach & Methods
Integrative. Mindful. Rooted in neuroscience — and grounded in real human experience.
How I Work: Integrative, Mindful, and Grounded in Real Change
My approach blends parts work, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and practical DBT skills to help you understand yourself more deeply, regulate your nervous system, and build a life that feels steady and meaningful.
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I take an integrative approach that meets you where you are—combining evidence-based practices with a grounded, compassionate style. Together, we’ll slow down enough to notice what’s happening inside, make sense of your patterns, and build the tools you need to feel more connected, calm, and confident in your daily life.
Parts Work
(IFS-Informed)
We all have different “parts” within us—emotions, beliefs, and protective patterns that developed for good reasons. Parts work helps you understand these inner dynamics with curiosity instead of judgment.
You’ll learn to recognize your protective parts, meet the younger parts they protect, and access more clarity, compassion, and inner leadership.
Mindfulness &
Somatic Awareness
The mind and body are deeply connected. Mindfulness and somatic practices help you notice what your nervous system is doing—tension, numbness, overwhelm, or emotional waves—and respond instead of react.
We’ll work with gentle breathwork, grounding, and body awareness to help you feel more present, calm, and steady in your daily life.
DBT Skills Integration
DBT gives you practical tools to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, communicate effectively, and build healthier habits.
We work with these skills in real time—not just as homework—so you can apply them immediately to relationships, boundaries, and stressful situations.
My approach isn’t about a single method — it’s about helping you reconnect with your inner clarity, compassion, and strength. Together, we’ll build the skills and insight that support real, lasting change.
What working together feels like
Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and highly practical.
You won’t feel rushed, analyzed, or lectured. Instead, we focus on:
Slowing down and noticing what’s happening inside
Understanding your emotions, behaviors, and patterns
Using parts work and mindfulness to get underneath the surface
Applying DBT tools to help you regulate, communicate, and cope
Building insight and building skills—at the same time
Most clients describe our work as warm, validating, and empowering.

Yes, but with more structure and tools. You’ll gain insight and practical coping skills.
Do I have to meditate?
No. Mindfulness can be practiced in many ways—we’ll choose what fits you.
